Dear Parents and Carers,
On behalf of the Staff and Governors of St Peter’s Catholic Primary School, I would like to welcome you and your family to our school and website. At St Peter’s every child is welcomed and valued as a unique member of God’s family. We work together to help all of our children to reach their own individual potential within the caring family atmosphere that is special to our school.
Whatever the needs of your children, we aim to ensure they thrive and feel safe, have fun and enjoy success. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum enriched with visitors, visits, events and activities to inspire in each child a joy for learning.
Our Catholic ethos focuses our expectations to ensure that our children are honest and respectful, care for others and work hard to develop skills which will allow them to be good citizens and achieve success now and in the future. Good behaviour and a positive attitude to learning are promoted through St Peter’s Law and celebrated each week during whole school celebrations.
We value the partnership between home and school and encourage all parents to take an active part in the education of their children and life of the school.
If you wish to find out more about St Peter’s, I hope our website will help you. However, there can be no substitute for a personal visit and you are warmly invited to come along to the school to see us in action – please telephone to make an appointment.
We look forward to welcoming you and your child to our school.
Mrs Julie Farrelly
